Default 04-06 Trailblazers engine swap?

Thinking of getting a TB for a daily ride.

Has anyone heard of the possibilty in dropping in a GM LSx engine without any serious modifications or issues?

I need the space of an SUV with the performance of my vette.

SS version is out of my budget, i can get a built LS6 faily cheap nowadays so i can't see paying the price for an SS for some nice leather seats and shiney badges

How much are you planning to spend on a TB? Or how many miles? How cheap can you get an LS6?

I'm selling my wife's TBSS w 58k for $17 so it seems like unless you're looking for a TB with over 100k (under that mileage they seem to be hovering at 10k or above at least in my area) you wouldn't be too far from that after the engine and everything involved with the swap.

Just get a TBSS. You will have no resale value on a reg. Trailblazer with a LS6.

The SS is more than shiny badges and leather seats.... Suspension/drivetrain/etc is what your paying for. I love my SS, well worth the $$ IMO.
