Default Street/strip V8 Ranger

This my brother's Ranger he has been working on for awhile. It's a street legal drag car basically. It can be driven to the track, run 11.49 at 117 mph, drive home, and still can go to Burgerville the next day.

The engine is a 70's 351W making 340RWHP/325RWTQ, bored .030 over, .513/.529" lift cam, 2.02/1.60 heads, Custom long tube headers (made by my brother), and a 750 carb. At the end of the season the cam got a huge scratch in it so he's replacing with a bigger one, along with a better intake manifold.

It had the original 1983 For Ranger wheels on the front, but now he has some aluminum Centerlines to match the back.

Since he ran 11.49 he has to get a roll cage, which he is working on now.

Also this has a custom 4-link suspension. 9 inch rear end, 3.89 gears

And to think this is what he starting out with:
