Hey all,
I bought a 07 BMWZ4 CPO with 10K miles. I took the car in for service and they told me that the car has been wrecked. So i called BMW North America and they advised me to take the car to another BMW service center, well they are saying something is not right. They tried to adjust the hood but there is no way to get it to fit correctly. I advised N. America that I want to return the car where I bought from, but the dealer is saying they won't take it back! What should I do?

As much as I hate to say it, Most used cars are sold as is, and that means Buyer Beware. I hope this works out for you.

I don't think there is much you can do unless the buyer knowingly misrepresented the car and you can prove it. As the previous poster said, used car are primarily sold as-is.
Did you buy it used at a BMW dealer? Was it a "BMW Certified Pre-owned" car? If so, contact BMW Customer Service and explain the issue. If you bought it from a used car lot or non-BMW dealer, all you can do is file a complaint with your State's Attorney General and Better Business Bureau saying the car was mis-represented. Good luck
Being a low mileage BMW with a CPO makes me suspicious. Even without it, the car should still be under the original total coverage warranty of four years, 50,000 miles which if far more advantageous than the CPO warranty.
Is the title clear or salvaged? If the hood won't align right, it could be a number of things. The lower sidemembers, aprons, core support, etc. What repair shop did the work? If you end up being stuck with it, I would see who did the work, what was on the estimate, and find out if it was jigged (per BMW north american standards).
Wrecked cars can be CPOed they just need to be to BMW standards, usually BMW OEM parts etc...
How long ago did you buy the car?
Depending on how long ago you can really push the issue and you might get the dealer to take the car back but you really need to push them.
