Default Selling my 08 Cayman S to save for ZO6

Having owned an 07 and 08 Corvette, and then sold them to buy an 08 Cayman S, many forum members said I was crazy or that I would return. Well, I am contemplating selling my 08 Cayman S so that I am armed to possible buy a ZO6.

If anyone is interested it is:

2008 Cayman S-6 speed
Midnight Blue/Sand Beige Interior
Bi-Xenon Headlights
Self Dimming Mirors
Heated Seats
Upgraded Bose Stereo
6 CD Changer
Current Mileage-4800
Paid $64500
Asking $52,500

I have not invested the time to figure out how to post pictures, but if anyone is interested PM me and I will send photos.

Ive never driven a porsche of any kind, but im sure they are nice.

Extra nice though you are considering a Z06 - i have an 08Z and it's the best.

Now is certinaly the time to buy if you want to get into a Z06... you could get a brand new 08 for just a little over 60K these days.

You'll get a better response posting this in the for sale section. Not trying to be funny but you're probably better off posting this on a Porshe "For Sale" board rather than here.

I agree would just be a fluke if someone happened to see it on this forum for sale. Having said that - good luck w/ the sale!

What are the main reasons you want BACK into a Corvette ---- and what are the main reasons you are dumping the P Car?

good luck with your sale and the forthcoming Z06.

I do like the Porsche Cayman, very nice cars. But i dont blame you for wanting to come back to a Vette.

Default Power and Price

I do miss the power, and with prices dropping, I may have an opportunity to own something that was out of reach a couple years ago.

If you really have to have an SUV and want LS2 power try and find a 2008 TBSS somewhere. I use mine for a DD while the C6 sits in the garage.
But by all means get a Vette also.

Good luck, the Porsche is a nice car although the Cayman and the Boxster in my opinion are nice handling, fun to drive but underpowered.

I'm curious too, my girl has expressed an interest in getting rid of her 3K spyder in favor of one of those.

Add in overpriced and I would agree also. I know they are great in the corners but by the time they reach a corner they are behind most high performance cars and some sporty sedans, especially with an auto.

A $12k loss would be great but I would probably expect more.

I'd rather have the Cayman. It's simply one of the most beautiful cars available.
