I saw a yellow Nissan GT-R on the I-10 freeway in LA today. What an ulgy a** car. 70,000 for that . I had no opion at first when people was taking about it. But after see it in real life. After Nissan stop paiding for the writer for car magazine for their lunch, dinner, room and air fair to drive the car we will get the true number for the GT-R. And I know we will not be impress. It wouldn't be anything near the Z06 number.

I agree. I've been reading all the hype and actually went to the Nissan website to look at 1. It looks like a funky 4 seater 300ZX with an ugly front end.
But...they have some of the ugliest front ends on their trucks too!
I think their cars are ugly too, but I'm sure there are lots of folks who think they're wonderful...look at all of them on the road! It's a subjective matter...

I'm quite sure time will tell. If you have enough beer and hype you would think fat ugly girl is attactive until the next morning.
I had an "encounter" with one last week didnt put up much of a fight, the guy did pull over however to talk, its actually much nicer looking in person, than the photos, give it credit for.
i was at calif speedway this weekend and taking a break from the auto-x session i sat up in the grandstands and watched the road course guys doing their track days. There were a few gtr's on and they were fast, i mean really fast. The car is by no means "good looking" in the traditional sense and no I wouldn't pay so much money for one (even if I had the money which I don't) but you can't deny their performance. Something about seeing that much mass move that quickly is simply impressive.
Check the other thread where the guy compares a zo6 and a gtr...they are close and you can see the comments from the other guys who were on the track this past weekend at the same time as those gtrs. It's impressive ugly or not (subjective again...personally i think it's not bad looking in person, but far from 'good looking').

I don't think yellow is a color choice. What were you looking at?
