No more speculation on the GTR. They are on the road. The first one to be delivered to North Carolina was delivered this morning to a fellow vette owner and member. I was there and saw it first hand and drove it later this afternoon. Although I am more of a fan of big American muscle, it is a very cool car. I'm sure he'll pop in here today or tomorrow with pictures. The car is much bigger in person than you can tell from the pics however if you shop at the big and tall store, this car is not for you. Interior is excellent. It is too new to beat the snot out of it because he will be doing proper break in but should have the correct miles on it in short order. I tapped into it a few times and can clearly see where people become addicted to turbos. The car is very very stiff so I can see where it will be a beast on the track. The rotors are nothing short of massive. I don't think I have seen brake rotors that damn big! The exhaust note, although quiet, is quite good. If you like a really loud exhaust, you will not like it. I actually forgot I was driving a V6. Can't beat it for gadgets. The information center (NAV screen or whatever you want to call it) would keep me entertained for quite some time. I picked up a 2008 Z06 yesterday. Expect a Highlander race. There can be only one. Sorry for the crappy camera phone pics but that's all I have now.
