Wheels are way to small. It needs to look like the concept with 22 rear and 21 front. It does not have a muscular look in the production form. Hopefully they will offer a bigger wheel package to fill the wheel wells better.

Way too small!? The SS has 20" wheels all the way around. All you have to do is lower it to get rid of the gap in the wheel well. Thats what most people do on their Vette.

Gigantic PIG, fuel is 4+ $ a gallon, and they build a 3900 lb v6 that makes peak power at 6400? Peek tq was what 5200 rpm? The ls3 and l99 cars will weigh over 4000lbs with just one person on board! Sound like the design team is getting paid by ford and chrysler to me. Its a huge joke. Huge being the the key word.
Why an alum 300 hp v6 that makes power high? Really, you have to wonder why gm is having trouble. They could have saved what, 100 million and went with the 4.8, the 5.3, the 6.0 and 6.2 in the line up, and saved everywhere , had better performance and with some weight reduction, could have actually gotten some mpg that isn't so embarrassing that you only wisper it in a dimmly lit room at parties.
Nice 40K 14 sec car that gets horrible milieage. Any c5 on the planet is a way better deal.
So you are saying that the bumble bee car in the transformers movie was ghetto? Surely not as that is the wheel combo it had. All I'm saying is that wheels that nicely feel the wells look better. Ford did the same with the concept Mustang and the production car wheels were smaller. Although the Camaro has 20"s all around it still doesn't look as good as the concept's 21/22 combo. This looks better IMO than what Chevy is offering.

You might want to check the specs again. The V6 weighs 37XXlb. and the SS weighs 38XX-39XXlb, depending on if its an auto or manual.

It's still way too heavy!!
My '77 T/A, with an all iron 400 cu.in. Pontiac engine was only 3650 lbs. with a half tank of gas...based on the scales at New York International Dragway, summer of '77. My father had a '67 Camaro coupe, with the all iron I-6, and if I recall correctly, it was about 31-3200 lbs.
