...in the interest of keeping this thread on topic, here is a pic of my car, lol.
OK, now that that is out of the way, I drove around the corner from my house, and this is what I saw!
This is the first one I have seen in my state, so please forgive my excitment, lol. Sorry for the low quality pics, I had to use my phone-camera. I think this car is so bad-ass looking! I don't know who the person is, but it sure is nice to see some good ol' American muscle in my neighborhood for a change!
I don't know about all of you, but I for one am really excited to see these throwback, classic 8's coming back over the past few years. I just hope the gas situation doesn't kill this trend before one of my favorite cars growing up sees the light of day, the Camaro.
I'll always love my 'Vette first and foremost, but this just made my day yesterday.
Looks great.. (both cars).. I was always a big Challenger fan.. Loved the looks and performance.. hated the interior as with all Chrysler products...
They did a great job.. It looks new and old at the same time.. Hopefully the interior is improved from yesteryear.. Hope they sell a bunch of them...
4100 lbs - looks good but heavy. Hope the Camero is lighter! Gas hog? Won't be in production long with new CAFE standards. Does this have a gas guzzler tax on it?
Looks like you have a small issue with your parking abilities.
LOL, no, I park that way in that spot on purpose...to ensure nobody parks too close to my car.
I rarely take the 'Vette to work, but when I do, I always park in that spot and WAY over the line. Last year, I had a RX-8 that I had owned for a mere 6 days and somebody did a hit-and-run in that very garage!
I learned my lesson; so now, when I do have to bring my car in, I always park in that far corner, well away from anybody.
I love the new Challengers, but I just can't believe that they released them all as automatics!!!
I saw one with a $15,000 markup (on a $45,000 car, that's ridiculous!), but if I'm going to pay $60,000 for a damn pony car, I'd better get a pistol grip shifter!

Yeah, that really bummed me out too.
Once the initial excitment dies down, the price gouging will stop.
I think Dodge did a good job with the Challenger... it has a fresh look while staying true to its heritage. I hope the Challenger is a success for Dodge. That said I'm not too excited about it.

I'm all for parking in the north forty but I can't condone the attitude of 'entitlement' of those taking-up two parking spaces.
The company I worked for had a large parking lot. We had one tenant who routinely parked his Jag in two spaces (near our maintenance shop). One of our maintenance guys would then park his truck as close as possible to this guy's car. This feud went on for a while and finally the tenant complained. I told the maintenance guy to stop making his ‘statement’ and I told the tenant to start parking in only one parking space.

If you notice he is on the end and giving enough room for the mom and kids to swing open their doors and not hit his car. I would call that a primo spot.

Thank you Sling, and least somebody took the time to look at the photo before yelling at me.
I always park on an end spot so I can go over a bit. This in no way impedes others from parking, at all.

Oh, so sorry if you thought I was yelling at you. That's why I put the smiley face.
I know your parking was intentional and if you and I had to park in the same garage we would be fighting for that exact spot. I just find it interesting that even in a picture, I seem to notice a car parked outside the lines more often than not.

No, no mate, I knew you were joking, lol.
Wayne O was the one that gave me a good "what for" about allegedly taking up 2 spots. But I agree with him, I hate people that do that.
And yes, there are 7 floors in the parking garage where I work....and all 7 of those "primo" spots on every floor are always taken!

Same deal here in California... not that I'd buy this car over another vette!

I agree but there are some a-holes out there that would key the car just because of the way it's parked. I park away from other cars but never park over the lines. That's just asking for it.

I only park over the lines in that one spot of that garage, and never do it anyplace else I take the car. I just park away from everybody else and never over the lines.
