Default Dodge Durango mechanical problem. HELP!

I started my durango ('02) this morning and it sounded funny. So I opened the hood and found a hose that had come off. I would have just put it back on, but it was cracked and just needed replacing. So I thought no big deal and took a different car to work. So this afternoon, I bought a new hose, put it on. And the car idles at 500 rpms and does it very rough. If I give it a little gas, it will rev up and die. I made sure the hose was clear by blowing through it. So then I took the hose off, started the durango, and it sounded like it did this morning. Lots of engine knows with a lack of power. But it did idle right and didn't die off with the hose disconnected. Here are pictures of the hose connections. Any ideas?! I really appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Alex

Alex it looks like a vacum line of sorts, not really up on Dodges but it might have thrown off changes in engine computer codes and might need to be reset ...just my $.02...
