Default Ultimate Factories Ferrari

If you have never seen the National Geographic Ultimate Factory presentation of the making of the F599 this torrent is worth the download! Amazing factory/foundry and amazing car.

http://www.isohunt.com/torrents/?ihq=ultimate+factories

Now could someone please give me a link to the Corvette Ultimate Factory presentation? We didn't get it in Canada for some stupid reason.

If GM did to the Corvette half of what Ferrari did to their cars. The Corvette would be a really, really SUPER car. No doubt about it!

I watched that show the other night. Ferrari's attention to detail is incredible.

And I would probably be saying "someday" while still trying to save the money so I could afford one instead of driving one as I do now.

I agree with that, my Z06 is beyond anything I might have expected or even imagined for sheer power and handling and response and interaction and I love the way it says "Hello Greg" when I fire it up. The control gives me confidence even in the huge power band of 427 cubic inches or growling propelling thrust. The low deep rumbling attitude of the LS7 is a far greater power plant than the whining 12 cylinder.

I wouldn't trade 5 C6 Z06s for one Ferrari any day!

(But I might trade one).

Awesome factory, I have been to the museum and it's equally impressive.

One thing I did notice was after all the hype about their "perfect" painting process the Ferrari still had an orange peel texture.
Couldn't they just apply a little heavier clearcoat and wetsand the finish? I'm sure their 1/4 mill budget would allow it.
