need your oponion

before i ask my question i do realize everyone on this site is obviously corvette fanatics i know i am i got a 96 lt4 nicelly modded

now to my question my dad is considering trading in his 04 mercedes SL500 NOT AN AMG 55 or 65 for an 08 new z06 he's had many vettes before but back when the SL came out with there redesign in 03 he traded in his C5 2000 vert as nice as the SL is i am a big fan of the 08 zo6 and so is he but he's still on the fence to most people who don't now cars when you say benz vert over a vette they say why would you even consider a vette over a mercedes

me personally im all for the zo6
