I'm curious why they were out in the first place? This storm has not been a big secret for several days. It's like these dumbsht "Balloonists" we have out here launching in high winds, nail powerlines and blame it on the winds instead of their own bad judgment and lack of common sense.
Then risk more lives by the Coast Guard or someone else having to go find them. Sorry, no sympathy out of me other than somone who is innocent in going for a ride thinking the captain actually had brains

I saw the video released by the Coast Guard this afternoon of the helicopters and the rescue swimmer. Great teamwork by the USCG...and there's a reason that area east and southeast of Hatteras is nicknamed the "graveyard of the Atlantic".
