Above is a marketing video that we use. Just thought you all might like to see it. Michelin wanted to see what we could do for them in our marketing plan. so we made the marketing video.

Here is the video that has over 500,000 views: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/L...ile_195518.htm TOday it has reached 511,397 views that could help a sponsor sell product.

Thanks for the update. Scanned through the link. Are you going to continue racing in the series??
We have a corporate sponsor for the Petit LeMans race on Sept 26th. It will be up to the sponsor, yet to be announced, to determine if we continue next season.

It is a very expensive series, and the odds of winning are slim to none without concessions from the sanctioning body to over come the tire deficit. Until last weekend, no tire has won in ALMS other than Michelin since 2005. it is what it is.

thanks
Lou g

Any product as long as we include them in all our video.

We have a great sponsor for Petit Le Mans now. We will announce it soon.

I just have to say that it is un American for any company to NOT sell a product to a company especially when it is the only real tire that is capable of winning.
No matter what the reason.

Michelin has been ambiguous and illogical with their reasoning. First it was that 22 teams were too many, until they added a 23rd. then with only 11 teams, they said that Chevrolet wanted to control the development of the GT2 Corvette tire, and I was out of luck.

Well, now it is developed and they still denied me the right to buy their tires. So what is it?

then they added a 4th Porsche to their mix but not a second corvette team??

INTEGRITY IS DOING THE RIGHT THING WHEN NO ONE IS WATCHING!

we will move forward with Dunlop and hopefully they have Corvette Fitments for the street and we can help them sell Dunlops.

Thanks
Lou G

Lou, congrats on the Petit deal, hopefully it will develop into something for next year. You and your people have always been extremely helpful and nice whether at the track or on the phone, I will continue to do my part to help by purchasing from you every chance that I get. Let me know when you have a set of 1 7/8" headers that will fit a LS7 in a C5. Look forward to seeing you at Petit.

Just ordered a set for Theresa's Odyssey. Despite what you make think of the French, they make some of the best tires on the market.

I don't really care who they will and won't sell tires to, but I'm a big fan of their motorcycle tires and will continue to buy them.

Un-American?

Aren't they a French company? If that's the case, I'd fully expect them to act un-American, considering they're um.........not American and all.........

I have LG headers on my car, they work great. But the airing of sour grapes on the interweb reflects poorly on LG, imo. I think it comes across as being "whiny"........

I'm SHOCKED that COMPAGNIE GENERALE DES ETABLISSEMENTS MICHELIN AMF could be so un-American!!!!

I think LG should go out and kick some Michelin ass using the Dunlops.

Actions speak much louder than words.

Maybe they should drop the weights and intake restrictions and just beat the living crap out of BMW.

I am not the kind of guy that turns the other cheek.

The truth is the ultimate defense and all I said was the truth.

And if a company does business in America, then they have to follow all the American rules.

I would love to hear the chorus of "whining" from the other teams if they were suddenly denied these tires and what would amount to a 2 second penalty.

Yes, their tires are worth 2 seconds, and it took 110 pounds (55# off BMW and 55# on Porsche) and about 25 hp given in restrictor concessions to allow the Dunlop shod car to run up front.

They did their lobbying in private via the manufacturer to get the concessions.

Remember Team Corvette ran for a number of seasons on Goodyear (same company as Dunlop) and could not win a race against the Vipers. THEN they switched to Michelins and became unbeatable.

Hmmmm.

And Corvette racing whined after every race complaining publicly.

Sorry to be so insistent and demanding to be treated equally.

Thanks guys,

See you at the races on Dunlop tires.

Having read all of this I think the problem isn't with the tire company, its GM telling the tire company not to sell tires to Lou.

As much as I hate to say it, the problem appears to be that Corvette Racing doesn't want to have to compete against Lou.

That is really shi**y.
