Medivac pilots... Marine Aviators... Professional Airline pilots... I hate you all!
I've been flying single/fixed VFR off and on (mostly off) since 1991. Most of my time's in C152/172's but I've got a little time in PA-28 140, Steen Skybolt, Pitts S-2C (fun plane), and a Bearhawk. A friend and I are currently plans building a Wittman Buttercup. Don't ask for pics b/c all I can give you right now are 2 piles, one wood, one steel tube. I'm the wood worker, he's the welder but between the 2 of us, neither really has had a lot of time to devote to the project.

I know that you're joking and seriously, it doesn't matter what you're flying, but the fact that you are flying....

Bell 412sp's same sized footprint as the S76.. We looked at and flew that S76 , but when Sikorsky was going to charge us $15 MILLION + trade ins for 2, the hospital choked.. Nice ships tho. The 412's are more rugged and have more room inside.. must be why we are down sizing to EC 135's
they are supposed to painted like the 412's
And I have had my privates for 60 years. Take them with me everywhere!!
From when I was a 727 Capt.
NICE NICE! That brings back memories... I never flew a 727 (unless you count several hours of unauthorized stick time... but I did spend over 1000 hours in the cockpit of the 727-100 Cargo planes we flew at work, as a loadmaster. We don't fly them anymore, which sucks! 737's are so plain and ordinary. 7-2's are simply amazing! I would always sit in that front observers seat, camera in-hand, taking pictures of anything and everything, and watching the flight crew and learning, because at the time I was still bent on becoming an airline pilot. Definitely my favorite plane ever!
I used to have that same exact one. Spent my time building it ever so perfectly.
Went home one day from HS and found that my younger brother had taught himself how to fly it........into the mailbox.
I can still hear his cries for help.

Found these old pictures on Airliners.net.
Picture of me working for the flight school. Gotta keep them clean. We had a saying, "You can polish a turd all you want, in the end it's still a turd" . I think 28D ended upside down on the Elgin-Ohare expressway. Student and CFI took off when the temp was below 10degrees. Engine quit and they ditched it on the expressway. Wingtip caught a light poll and flipped them upside down.
Yep, I was right. Found this picture.
Taking a friend up for a ride.

The 727 was a great airliner but the Hog is still my favorite.
