Ahhhhh. . . . memories of simpler times. Those bikes were great. I used to LIVE on my bike. Now, I don't even see kids outside, let alone exerting any form of energy!

I used to live on my Mongoose
We had a regular street gang of BMX'ers that hung out together doing tricks, riding all over town. Life was GOOD.
My kids hardly ever rode a bike....

My bike was a Race Inc. Very similar to this one...
it was seriously light since it was aluminum...all the neighborhood kids were impressed how little it weighed.

I had one too. Sold it and got a Redline PL-20. Wow, that was over 20 years ago.

Yeah, there were a bunch of us, too. Though mostly freestyle bikes. My favorite was my black GT Performer. I remember riding on the handlebar backwards, all the way to my friend's house, without a styrofoam nut sack on my head! I think you could be arrested for that now!

Used to stick my Peregrines in the freezer to take the warp out of them. Worked with Skyways too.
