Default shop suggestion

My daughter lives in Mountain View, California and I in Texas. So obviously I can not maintain her 2019 Camaro SS. Who would you recommend for maintenance?
TIA

TPS and for dealer service most will say Rio Vista. It just depends what you mean by "maintenance"? If your referring to oil changes and such hell take it almost anywhere in the area that has good reviews. Hell I changed the oil in my Camaro last week on the ground in 20 min. Mine is blown and lowered so a bit of a pain. Getting it off the ground, dealing with the Magnuson deal that replaces the oil cap, and disposing of the oil is the bigger issue. LOL

Yes most definitely I would recommend Abel Chevrolet above all other dealerships and repair shops.
They just did some major work on my 2005 Corvette for the "Service Fuel System" where I got erratic fuel readings (Empty Fuel Gage Problem) that kept going from full to empty with the "Check Engine" light on. (A common C-6 Corvette problem with fuel sensors). They had to drop both fuel tanks as well as order the necessary parts.

Abel provided me a loaner car for a few days while my car was down.

For preventative maintenance, I also had Abel do a complete automatic transmission service during this visit using Amsoil synthetic ATF, change auto trans filter, and trans. pan gasket.
I had the rear end differential serviced also using new Amsoil synthetic rear end differential and Amsoil Friction Modifier.

Also got a new GM Gold battery from Abel a few weeks later since old battery died. (When it rains it pours).
ABEL got me in without an appointment to change battery within a few minutes and back on the road in a few minutes.

I have always had Abel do major work and warranty repairs on my 2005 Corvette that I purchased 18 years ago (factory order).

Abel has the best customer service that you will find as you will hear from others that come from all over the state and out of state to get their Corvettes serviced by the Corvette techs. at Abel.
Plus you can TRUST ABEL with your Corvette which is most crucial after hearing other Chevrolet Dealership Service/ and other repair shops horror stories.

I did not have that kind of experience with them. Basically, just an average dealer experience, but with a long *** drive there and back.

It's a nice drive. This is my personal experience with this dealership over the past 15 years or so.

This has been my experience as well for the past 12 years.........they have always met or exceeded my expectations for my C6Z track car.

As you can see by my avitar I live in Mtn. View. I can highly recommend Precision Motor Works in Santa Clara. Ph # 650/985-2316, ask for Jeff or Brian. A lot of our club members go there for service of there Corvettes. Very

He should have been able to answer those specific questions I asked but he chose to avoid them. I did notice that he would always push the MOST $$$expensive$$$ solution when it was not called for and was very adament on that. I definitely felt like he was taking me for a ride so I would not do any business with this person. Talk about being ripped off or paying the "Corvette Tax"

I never got this at Abel when dealing with Richie. Richie saved me $$$$ and informed me what I really needed and didn't need which saved me $$$ to the type of driving that I do. He would explain to me what was a waste of $$$$$.
You don't get that kind of service and advise at other repair shops or Chevrolet dealerships who always say you need this or that and try to nickel and dime you to death.

I have no idea who you are and just sent you a DM asking you to call me to discuss your issue. It's interesting I NEVER had you post a complaint until the thief "Bayshore Vette" made a post about his experience. His post is ridiculous as he returned a set of wheels after he received them and we waived his restocking fee. We then refunded him and he still disputed the charge.

Are we the cheapest around? We're not but we're honest and know what we're doing. We're been around for 16 years and are growing while countless shops have closed.

I would be happy to talk to you instead of you randomly posting about how we tried to rip you off while hiding behind a alias to post. It's very easy to post random things behind a unknown forum account

Took my C7 with info screen problems to 3 GM dealers and 1 was that nice long drive with no results. Jeff at performance has been working on my Mercedes for years so I took my Vette to them and now no more info screen problems. Performance gets my vote and they are close.
