Instead of a car wash you may want to look into a detailer. Sap is beyond what they normally handle at car washes. Better to take care of it sooner than later.

You don't need to wash it in order to remove the sap. That's where I was going...sorry if that rubbed you wrong the way.....

You can try Chamois Car Wash in Danville. They do a decent job (on my work car and Suburban). I believe they will remove sap, road tar, etc for an additional cost. However, I have never brought my Corvette there. I do that job myself.

No one washes this or the other Vettes I've owned except me. However, If I had sap I would ask Adams Polish for their advice or go to a Detailer (not a carwash) to remove it.. I would also budget $300 plus to remove depending how much there is.
I never park beneath a tree ! Lots of nasty stuff in trees!
Hope it comes off !

how about good old WD40? i've used that in the past and, have had good luck with it. also works great on removing tar too.
when i do treat myself to a car wash, i go to Walnut Creek car wash. on no. main st. across the street from BevMo.
