Default AAS July 19-20

Is anyone going to AAS event at Crows Landing for the Larry Park Memorial? Should be a fun event, course is going to be big, fast and Flowing.

American Auto-X. Founded by Larry Park who was tired of running his Corvette on the tiny "shitliner" courses that SCCA ran. When AAS started, they went as far as not even allowing imports to enter the events. It's auto cross, but on a larger scale. Think 75-90 second courses, 2nd and 3rd gear course vs tight 2nd gear SCCA events. This is the 25th anniversary of his death and usually brings out A LOT of Corvettes and people who knew him.

Man, you guys missed out if you didn't run this event. Let's just say deep into 3rd gear in a c6z. Crows Landing is defiantly give El Toro Air Base in SoCal a run for it money as auto cross Mecca of the west coast.

That was the highest speed I've ever reached on autox. So good to know what my street car can do.
