Default San Francisco Hotels

Can anyone from the San Francisco area know of a decent hotel or motel near Fisherman's wharf that is not $300-$500 a night. I need two rooms with 4 in each room for the night of June 18th. My family is going to my grandsons wedding near Sacramento and we are wanting to be near the wharf since no one in my family has been there before. On the 19th we are going on the Alcatraz tour so would like to be close to that area. Any help would be greatly appreciated, everything I am finding is $375-$500 a night and we can't afford that for one nights lodging.

Surely someone that has done business with me will have an idea.

Thanks

Dennis, staying close to Fisherman's Wharf is going to be expensive, and there aren't that many options. Really, you should look into staying in another (cheaper) part of the city and using public transit to go to the wharf, Per 39, Embarcadero, etc... It's not too hard to get around SF on Muni.

Look for hotels/motels in South San Francisco 94080. It's about a 10 min/5-10 mile drive from the city, off of 101 near SFO airport. Many different choices of all pride ranges. HoJo, travel lodge, Westin, best western, Marriott n many more $-$$ lodging choices. Very easy access to everything and budget friendly.
