Default New z06 Owner Looking for Several Mods

Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself to some of the locals:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...z06-owner.html

Also, I'm looking for the following items for my 2003 z06:

- MGW Shifter (prefer the C6 handle model due to **** availability)
- LG 1 3/4" LT with cats
- Underdrive crank pulley
- CAI (Vararam)

Please PM me if you have any of these items. Thanks.
Luke

NICE I see another CaFord member has joined the Darkside now lol. I'm known as Cali95gt over there. Funny thing is a guy at work had your old red cobra and just recently sold it. Hopefully I'll see you around. I'm just 10 mins away.

Just a piece of advise, before you invest in an MGW shifter, test one out from a local Vette owner. There are a LOT of people that do not like them (me being one) because they are way too notchy.

It's sold quite often in the for sale forums....there is a reason for that. Who knows, maybe the new MGW with the MGW lower box is vastly improved than the older shifter I had.

Thanks guys, although I definitely have heard mixed opinions, MGW still probably has more positive than any other shifter. From my understanding there were at least 3 generations of this shifter?

In any case, I'd like to give it a shot along with the anti-venom mod.

I thought the MGW was very notchy, I'd get a C6 shifter instead.
Also if your looking for a tuner after those mods there's a very good local that myself and others use from your area

Also wondering if there's anyone on the Peninsula (San Mateo, Burlingame/Palo Alto) area that knows Vettes and can install a shifter and exhaust system.

Of course any shop can do it, but I am looking for a shop with attention to details who has Vette experience.

Thanks,

Luke

The shifter is very easy. You can use this link as a guide:
http://www.c5forum.com/diy/hurstdiy.php

As for the exhaust (I'm assuming headers) - take it to Rick@Synergy. You'll need a tune after install

Another vote here for Rick at Synergy. He's worth the drive over the bridge.

Guys,

The car will run with Longtube headers right? I need to be able to drive it at least 50 miles to get to my tuner.
