I am in Fresno. I may know you from motorcycle days as well. I use to race. Was active on Central Valley Riders forum. Quit riding in 2009.

Don't know if you're into autocross or track days but there are number of Corvettes that run with Fresno SCCA -- www.fresnoscca.com
First autocross weekend is March 1&2 at the Fresno Fairgrounds. Come on out.

Don,
I'm not much of a 'club' guy, but there is a Fresno Corvette club. Also, I believe there is a group that call themselves 'Euro Sundays' (I think you can find it on the web). I've seen them gather on Sunday mornings for coffee and such, then head out for a drive in the hills. Many nice cars in that group.
Myself, I have a 2006 coupe with an A&A supercharger kit. Ridiculous power, but I usually keep things very tame (I saturated my 'need for speed' with the motorcycles).

Im with you........ After 180+ and 150 mph wheelies, theres nothing the vette can do to compete.
