Default Thanks to Rich and the crew at Abel

Took the 2000 Lingenfelter in to Abel to get some little nagging things taken care of, plus to see if they could get some of the rattles out of the T1 suspension. They did a great job and the car is much quieter, although as Rich said you will never get the T1 suspension to totally be quiet. Great service and they found a couple of things that were causing some of the noise that a couple of other shops missed.

Thanks for the kind words Larry. Driving that car sure did remind me of my '02 Z06 with T1 suspension. Carrie used to hate all the noises it made, but it sure did work well.

Between the bushings, stiffer springs, shocks and end links there are too many sources of noise.

Rich is a great Guy. I have purchased a ton of stuff through him over the years at some really good discounts.
His knowledge is equally as great and he is always willing to share.
Wish there were more people like him.

Margo noticed that it was more quite the minute we left the dealership on Saturday. Went down and test drove the 2011 GS roadster. I loved the GS, but now that our car is "fixed", I don't think I will be selling it. Might start looking for some new seats, a stripe to add some color to it, and maybe a coil over setup like you and I talked about.

If you want coil overs, I will let you know when mine come off the car in the next month or so.

I know you need some company at the crap table at Tahoe! I might bring it out for one track day this year, see what happens.

I'll give you a call in a few weeks so we can talk about what I will need if I go this route.

Thanks Steve. How has life been treating you? Just talking to a couple of guys at the Saturday GTG up here in Sacramento. One went to El Cerrito High and the other to Harry Elles. We have been comparing notes on the old cruising, street racing and best places to eat.
