A heat range hotter then stock on 91 or is that a typo?

The TR55 is not a hotter plug than stock... it is stock type replacement but a better plug.

The 5 heat range is a stock replacement for an LS1/2/3 not an LS7/9.

Good package pricing though

The TR55 is a stock replacement for a LS7. The TR55 is not a plug I would use for a ZR1. In fact, the TR55 is a plug we use for mild NA applications and the TR6 and TR7 for FI.

You are free to use what you like but the LS7 and LS9 cars use the same 6 heat range plug from the factory. So using a tr55 is going hotter ( and wider gap) even though it is N/A. The TR6 and 7 are often used when FI is added to an N/A car. The ZR1 is a 9:1 FI motor and the LS7 is an 11:1 N/A motor so they both use the same heat range in stock or mildly modded form. The stock replacement for an LS2/3 would be a TR5.

Don't really want to argue, just stating facts. Feel free to cross reference the Delco 41-110 and 41-104 plugs against NGK and their stock applications.

^^^^^ This is 100% correct. GM Uses the same plug on LS7/9, but they are different than any other LSx engine.

Nice numbers on the mods, but what were the SAE corrected numbers?

FWIW I run a Denso IT-22 on my car which is a stock compression LS3 with 10 lbs of boost. That is the equivalent to a TR7IX plug. The first post edit will help board lurkers from being mis lead on plug choice.

We have been seeing anywhere from 490/460 to 505/470 for C6 Z06's with our ported Intake and Throttle Body Combo, Long Tube Headers, and custom dyno tune. This car's SAE was 494RWHP and 468RWTQ.

I actually just spoke to Aaron and he swap them out to TR6s before he installed them.

TR6, TR6IX or Delco 41-104 are all fine for a Z06 with those mods on 91.

I assumed you knew what was installed since you defended it.

Is your 224x an Eddy Current model? If not that may explain how you are getting away with a 5 heat range.

I had a brain fart when I posted it..

Our Dynojet is a 224XLC so it has the Eddy current.
