Toys for Tots Toy Run Dec 1, 2012


Hello Corvette lovers,
We would like to invite everyone to this year's Toys for Tots Toy Run Saturday Dec 1st. We will be holding the event this year at Abel Chevy in Rio Vista. The event will be held from 11-2 on Saturday Dec 1st. Abel Chevy will also be a drop off location for Toys for Tots if you aren't able to make the event on the 1st, Please stop by and drop a toy off at your convenience. Every single toy counts.

Richie and Abel will also be hosting a free BBQ for everyone that brings an unwrapped toy

Also going to ask for a small dontation of 5.00 per car to go to TOys for Tots..

This year we will be having the US Marines come out from Toys for Tots and collect toys and cash donations.
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community.
I hope all of you can come out this year and support the Marines and the community.
This will be an open invite to all so please tell your friends and come on out and have a great time for a great cause…..

Let's have all the same meet spots throughout the bay area and then all cruise into Rio Vista.

Thanks for posting this up George, it should be a great event. We are hoping to collect a ton of toys for the kids and will be looking forward to seeing everyone help us do so. We will be here with the BBQ warmed up and cooking for all that contribute a toy (or 3 or 5) to the cause.

Please keep adding your names to the list so that I know how much food to buy and how many cars to make room for.

Looking forward to making the run again this year... it will be a busy weekend for me as i have an event at shriner's hospital on sunday.... another toy drive but this is an event and i handle the raffle prizes.
