My shifter broke yesterday and I won't have time to fix it before tomorrow's run so I am looking for someone who has an open passenger seat and wouldn't mind some company for the drive.

Terrance, it isn't the shaft of the shifter, it is the aluminum shifter box mounted to the torque tube that broke. Craziest thing!

Tom, my co-pilot just had to cancel so I'll have an open seat. Wasn't sure I'd even make it since I thought I might have to work. I won't be doing the dinner but if you are in to a shortened version of the trip this year, let me know. Just got new Cray Scorpion wheels with Nitto Invo tires put on today so am looking forward to breaking them in tomorrow.

Well a HUGE thanks to Dale for driving out to Disco Bay on a moment's notice and changing out the part that was broken. Can't say enough how generous that was of his time! And late on a Friday night to boot!

Went for a drive and it's all good to go. Gassed up the car and I'm ready to head out first thing tomorrow morning. It'll be good to actually go on a cruise in that thing for the first time since last summer.

Thanks to all who offered up a passenger seat. Much appreciated.
