Does anyone here use a Laser Jammer?
I know that they are illegal in CA, but I was wondering if anyone here has one. What have your experiences been? Can the LEO tell if you are running one? Do they work?
I got a speeding ticket today in my Volvo Station Wagon this morning. My V1 went off but it was too late.

Yes the reason your V1 picked it up too late because Lendar is being used and it's an instant on radar gun. I got a ticket out of state because of the Lendar.
Bad news is that it's going to get worst. They are trying a radar gun that can pick up a group of cars at one time and "paint" them all that are going over the speed limit.
Technology will catch up...but who knows when.
Jammers are available...but some won't even be shipped to CA.
If busted with one the price to pay is expensive....

Antonio, you say less than four and more than four. Where does exactly four fall in?

EDIT: ---> Just noticed Antonio posted the same code as I was searching for. It says "Four or more" is a misdemeanor so I'm assuming the higher fines kick in at 4 as well?

Thanks guys,
I was wondering if having a laser jammer is just a dead give-away? In this picture it looks like the speed would just not register. Would the police just automatically pull the car over and inspect for jammers?
Would any LEO's care to comment?

The Blinder m47 package comes with 4 jammers/parking sensors. People put 2 front / 2 rear, or 3 front / 1 rear for full protection. Too bad these packages don't come with 3 to stay in the "infraction" zone instead of misdemeanor.

The Blinder package claims they can double as parking sensors which theoretically should make them legal...as long as you are not using them to jam lidar. If they are truly usable as parking sensors I'm not sure just having them on the car is punishable. But it's their word against yours as to whether you used them on the open road and the courts generally side with law enforcement, short of hard evidence supporting your position.

I might have a Laser Interceptor in my Z06. I might slow down after I hear the alarm and then I might turn it back off in a couple seconds when I am close to the speed limit so the cop with the lidar gun gets a reading. It might have saved me 2 or 3 times in the past year. The cop just shoots another car after he gets a slower signal.

I just wait for them to run up on me, they read my plate,(my plate cathcehs there attention) call it in and when it comes back they usually (as long as i have slowed down) slide next to me and wave me off.

I remember reading about this last year and IIRC less than four is a fine...but "four or more" is not only a larger fine but also a misdemeanor criminal offense in CA. I'll see if I can find the code and reference it.

I know is Solano county I could get an infraction easy.
