I love the cold, rain and especially snow. Spent all weekend in the fresh powder and it was amazing how much we got.
Over 5 feet since thursday night and over 2 feet just sat night alone. This is what we woke up to sunday morning and it had only been about 12 hours since we cleaned off the deck, driveway and trucks.
The snow bank behind my friend in this pic was not even there on thursday and now it's almost 7 feet tall.

Hey, Rich, that's a slick idea to tilt the wiper blades off the windshield when expecting snow; I'll have to remember that one.

It was sunny this morning so I drove in hoping to blow all the pittosporum debris off my hood (should'a put my cover on last night). Looking out the window it's dry, but the CBS radar shows rain all around me, so I'm in for a soaking driving home. Sure glad I got new tires.

Worked a car show in Laughlin and onto Death Valley on Sunday to do a training run for Big Sur. Kicked my butt, 1450 feet of elevation gain in 3 1/2 miles and back down again, but it was a great work out.
Had white out conditions coming out of Death Valley Sunday night at Towne Pass (4900 ft) That road is curvy and tough when it is dry, add that condition to it and the sphincter tightening factor doubles.
Normally it is 70's and sunny.. This is simply getting old.
Monday morning coming over the Tehachapi's, They had to plow at the pass.
Lucky me, I was the second car behind the plows and the spreaders.
Which resulted in this

So the drive last night wasn't as bad as the radar map made it look.
I play music Tuesdays so drove straght to the jam. I arrived early so took the time to set my clock then went in an picked for 3 hours.
Came out and discovered I'd left keys in ignition. No worries, the jam's only 3 miles from home, called son to bring spare key. Open car...no lights...d'oh battery's dead.
Jumped car and took it for a spin in the rain to charge the battery. Drove it in this morning, in the rain, for the same reason. Too wet to practice the fiddle at lunch.
The clock is wrong again.
D'oh!
Yes, I'm tired of the rain.

Just for you Willie so that you know it's official...
Once again, wet track conditions and windy weather has canceled tonight's Wednesday night drag racing (March 23)
Weather permitting, we will try again next week March 30
