I've been tinkering with this car for about 4 years and recently swapped my maggie for a procharger. Also installed a fuel system to handle E85 and just put in a vacuum pump to control my oil blowby issue. This is the fastest car I have ever been in. Planning on going to Sac raceway next Saturday if anyone else wants to head up there. Thanks to Nick for the tune, I think his first with E85. Check it out (all driving was done on private roads during a recent trip to Mexico):
That my friend is a bad ass GOAT! E85 and boost are meant for each other. How are you liking the corn fuel and what exhaust setup are you running because that sounds
Thanks for all the comments guys . Its been fun working on this car and rewarding to see it come together as I hoped it would.

Yes, it is quite loud for a street car. But I won't really be driving it on the street very often.

Thanks, I running the same 2.5" magnaflow catback I bought back in 2005. Someday I'll get a 3" catback put in.

Good idea Fred because it still has stock brakes!

That will be great. E85 is running so cool that I have to unplug my fans right now at idle to get the engine up to temp. It never gets over 180F sitting and idling even with no fans .

That is just plain sick. I wanna go for a ride in that beast. Let me know when you are going to Sac. You have my number. It would be cool to see that corn fed beast go deep in the 10's (or better).
Bill,
That thing is a beast. I would like to come out when you try to run it down Sac. Getting 760 to hook @ Sac should be fun
Very nice build,
Steve

Thanks guys, I'll be at Sac this coming Saturday if you guys can make it. It will be a learning day for me with the new setup so I don't expect any stellar times but it should give me an idea of the potential. And hopefully without breaking anything. One guy on the East coast has basically my same setup (also swapped out his maggie) but with a stalled auto and he's on the brink of running 9's (10.03). I won't get anywhere near those times with a stick but my trap speeds should be up there. Should be a nice day at the track if you guys want to run your vettes or TBSS .

I might just have to fill up a couple bottles for the TBSS then.
When will you bring it to T-Hill or move the engine to your vette ? Should be interesting on track even though it might be a bit like drifting here and there

Hi Hak. One thing I've learned from my gto project is I will try to avoid running custom built engines at the roadcourses. There's nothing like the reliability of a stock engine (or just bolt-ons) at the track as far as I'm concerned. See you next Friday at LS, can't wait . How's Nick doing? I hope he gets his car back out there ASAP.
Nice, sounds crazy. I know with my FRC I used to hate driving it around with the D1 making noise (cops lol) I cant imagine your car. Looks really good though, and your only minutes from me.
