I don't think a big cam is considered a "bolt on."

I think that is Tony's car right? I drove it yesterday at the drags and it is a fun car. It sounds wicked, pulls hard and the idle is pretty awesome sounding. The poor trans can't keep up with the HP though. Hopefully somebody will come up with some upgrades for that A6.

Nice numbers. Those LS3s really can run. You are right, a cam is a bolt IN.

Sorry to pile on Mike, Those are great numbers and the LS3 is almost cheating. Best engine to happen at GM since the LS1! Tony's car is a beast and if he ever gets grippy tires on it, track or DRs I am sure it will become a real performer!
Good job Mike

Thanks Steve.. the LS3 is a BAD ASS engine.... I'm going to have to get me one soon... the BOSS LADY actually asked me to get one last night which I was pretty shocked.

Wait till we get a better tranny for his car... it will really rip then with the new tires

It made 461RWHP, 427RWTQ SAE on a conservative tune of about 12.4:1.. The car definitely has more.... I think once we install the FAST Intake & Throttle Body and lean it out a little more we should see a pretty good gain.... 500RWHP on a NA LS3 would be nice
