Any recommendations on a good auto body places in SJ, Milpitas or Fremont (as in Corvette friendly, know what they are doing)?
I nicked the corner of a parking cement block and (deep) scraped the driver side bottom rear (area in front of the drivers side, near rear tire; you can see the white fiberglass; two lines almost 6-8 inches long). I plan to put some touch up paint but I have another scrap/crack on the same side (bottom, close to the front tire; hardly see it) from awhile back and figure I get the whole thing fixed.
BTW this is for a C5 coupe, pewter....and yeah its lowered on stock bolts....

My suggestion is Active Auto Body in Sunnyvale. Talk to the owner, Shawn. When I bought my '04 Vette, a big gash mysteriously appeared in the rocker panel about two weeks after I picked up the car. My wife swears she doesn't know what happened. We took it to Shawn and he repainted the rocker panel. It came out looking like new. Blend was perfect. My wife and I went to pick it up and while I am standing there talking to Shawn, my wife leaves in the car.... well, almost. She turned too tight and hit a curb in the EXACT SAME SPOT that was just painted. Shawn looked at me and said, "Don't worry about it. I'll repaint it for free." Now THAT is service.
He also painted my hardtop as well as the striping on Keith Mendia's Trailer. (search mendia in the norcal section). Even Andy (above) had his stripes done by Shawn. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Tell him David Wilson from the Corvette club sent you...

BTW -
They were able to color match my hood, and both rear quarter panels without blending, perfectly!
When I was there they had at least 5 frame off restorations projects going on.
