Default Looking to borrow a set of 18" drag radials for this Saturday

I just finished a heads/cam/intake swap on a 98 C5 belonging to a friend of mine (who's also a Brentwood police officer) and was planning on going to the Test and Tune in Sacramento this Saturday to get the car properly dialed in.

Normally I would have just lent him my 17" Hoosiers but since he has larger rotors they don't fit.

The plan is to get the AFR and spark timing set up using his street tires and then make 3 or 4 passes with the drag radials to see how much they help out. As such, I can promise that if someone is kind enough to let me use theirs I'll only wear them down a little bit.

Thanks in advance if somebody's able to help me out.

I almost bought a set of 18" DR which I would certainly have lent to you, but I never pulled the trigger. Good luck, hope somebody can help you out. Lord knows, you have always been more than generous with others like this.

Congrats on your personal best ET last week, btw!

I have got 2 unmounted Hoosier R100 305/645-18's, the sidewall construction is much stiffer than a DR but if you lower the pressure enough it might work.

Chris I sold that set I had 2 days ago but you know the story. IF I HAD..... HAHA Anyways I am now softly in the market for a inexpensive set of DR's for the rear. If you find a set forsale, I will buy them and you guys are certainly welcome to use them.
