Hi guys,
I am looking to buy a dial indicator tool. Checked Sears and the other regular auto parts stores. No one carries them.

Does anyone know any special tool shops in the San Jose area who may be carrying them.

Here's what I am looking for.

Google "precision tool supply in San Jose"

Good luck, always seem to land on a Sunday when you need something special.

Thanks a bunch.
I know.. I ordered a bunch of parts from Summit last week, and of course I had to forget this then.

Try KBC Tools out of Hayward. Here is a online line to their catalog. They will ship direct to you.

John,
That's really nice of you, but I ended up ordering a cheap one online.
Saw a lot of good reviews about this on the forum.
I am going to be busy tomorrow and I will not be able to go look for it.

Looks like a decent set, KBC was about $22.00 for one similar. I don't use mine too often. Used it originally setting up rear ends to get the clearance correct. Still use it once in awhile. It is just one of those things you need and then hold onto.
