Default Finished the tune today

I just got back from Newtech today. Nick retuned my car for me and it drives great. Also found the torque arm was missing another bolt and we reset the pinion angle. Was also good timing as the thermostat failed, so now I have a new one.

Car made 491 rwhp and 459 rwtq.
Uncorrected numbers were 507/474

We seem to have hit the power limit of the stock MAF and lid. This time around on the dyno I did have my cats back on. I'm really looking forward to the TSP 100mm lid and MAF, as well as the FAST 102mm TB and intake. Some real good power to be found in the intake.

I'll post up the graph and vids later.

Man I cant wait to get my car over to Nick. Everyone seems to be happy after they get the car home and thats great to see. Way to many of us had great cars on other dynos/tunes and let down after driving on the street.

I'm very happy with the way it drives. It did make 1 pull that made more power, but Nick felt this one would be better suited with a better air/fuel I think. But that one made:

492 rwhp / 467 rwtq

suprisingly good actually. It doesn't like revs under 2k, but with an enormous cam thats expected. It is pretty easy to drive.

I have said for years the dyno queen cars are pointless and numbers mean nothing. If I gave a chit about numbers, I would have slapped headers on months ago.

Richie I cant agree with myself more. I once was into the big numbers and probably why I went with NOS, but now I want to just have something I can drive and enjoy. If it make 400hp I could care less. O.K. I lie I would be pissed but I am not putting all my eggs in 1 basket and wanting to pushing my tune to the end.
