Default Removing lenses from Tail Lights...

I bought one of those blackout kits off ebay...and went to go replace the tail lights.

I was expecting that once I removed the screws...that tail light lenses would just fall out...but the entire tail light assembly came out. No biggie...but is there an easy SAFE way to pull the lens off? I dont want to break anything in case I hate the look of them.

Thanks

If the kits look like they are just lenses, they are likely covers. They go OVER the existing lenses. I've never seen replacement lenses for sale unless they were entire housings.

Just be glad the first post wasn't someone telling you how to do remove the lenses. I know how, but figured I would post the most likely scenario first.

I'm just glad I decided to STOP and ask the experts.

Drove to work today wondering how much grief I'll get from the PO PO....somehow I've avoided any with the window tint.

thanks again
