Actually, it's pretty simple. As special as the NoCal folks are, they have to follow the same rules that apply to the rest of us. 
That can be pretty funny because it makes those affected believe nobody is paying attention to them. You must have seen it at another vBulletin site, however, because we don't use that feature at Corvetteforum.
No tricks. If you violate the rules, we try to get you to stop. If you don't, the only option we have is "moderation" or "banning."
Pretty well sums it up.
Nothing to be "skerred" about if you are following the rules (including the one about criticizing Forum moderation in open threads), treat others with civility and aren't trying to stir the pot.
