Default USS Hornet run is a go.

The California Corvette club will be going to the USS Hornet on June 29th. All are invited to attend the run or just show up at the Hornet. We will meet at the Les Schwab tires on Madison Ave in Sacramento at 8:00 am and leave at exactly 9:00am.
We will get to the Hornet at between 10:30 and 11:00am and park our cars for a photo and then have lunch. You can picnic at your car in the parking lot or have a burger onboard the ship. The entry fee is a discounted $10 per person for the corvette group. Make sure and wear a corvette shirt so they know who you are.
After we eat lunch we will receive a special VIP tour by Rolf Saybe who was stationed on the USS Hornet and is the president of the Rio Vista Corvette club. Should be lots of fun..
Feel free to email me direct if you plan to attend or have any further questions. budsc3vette@sbcglobal.net or post on the forum.

Hey Ken ... you going on this one? Sounds like it could be fun.
This ex-USN guy is going to try and make it! Get some of us South/East Bay folks to show up.
Show off some of those USA sports cars in front of a USN warship!

Between some of us (Paul) and myself and some others. We can call on our cell phones when we get to your on ramps and have you join our caravan. I just have to have a list of names and pick up points. When we get past Vallejo, I get real confused. My wife doesn't let me out much!!!. Just email with a name, onramp and cell #.
My email is budsc3vette@sbcglobal.net
See you at Vette Magic drags..

I believe we have about 6 or 7 coming from the South Bay - I'm thinking the South Bay guys can meet at Vette City and go up together.
