A6's are softer and don't require the heat to be built up before working. The R6's compund requires more heat and therefor suck for Auto-X. The kumho 710's are a great inbetween tire that works good for both, but they do not make C6Z06 sizes.

Sick lot of tires there Rich. That care will be insane on the AutoX! The pilots will be an upgrade as well especially in that oversize!
The wheel wells should look nice and full with those. Now you really need those M/T DR's for the straightline events! (you know you want to!) Don't forget the coilovers and big T1 bars.

Those things will absolutely PWN at the autocross. When is the next one? Rubber makes the single biggest difference in performance period. I remember from my Porsche days, I had a basically stock 996 with race pads and Dunlop R comps. I was in the green group at thunderhill and there was another guy with a GT2. This thing cost 180k plus he had another 40k in mods. Motons, 750hp, BBK, but he was on street tires. His car would put 5-6 lengths on my down the straightaway but by turn two I would catch him. Simply because of the rubber was dominating his street tires. These A6s are way faster than the old Dunlops too.

Enjoy buddy.
It's all about grip.
Keep Pushin'
Next one is July 19 at Oakland Col.
After that, we have a couple later in the year at Solano. I will post them up as we get closer.
The only thing that makes more of a diff is the "driver mod" and I have that one covered.
