Default My car wont shift. Advanced? Richie?

I got in last night and pushed the clutch in and I immediately noticed it felt a little too easy going to the floor. Once started I couldn't get it out of first gear.

When the motor is off, I can shift around.

I'm thinking something to do with the hydraulic clutch system. Any ideas?

It's a '96, Don't know if Advanced wants to look at it or not?

Thanks

Sounds like a master or slave cyilinder. Check the resevoir to see if its low. Generally you'll want to replace both cylinders if there's a problem.

Randy,

I doubt the pressure plate would just take a dump like that. I am sure that Robert could take a peek at it and if not, give me a ring to get it in down here.
