Palo Alto Concours d' Elegance at Stanford University (Athletic Field)
Sunday, June 22nd
I am looking for a few more judges to support the Palo Alto Concours Judging of Corvettes. Three to four sets of judges consisting of three members per set will be required. Santa Clara Corvettes is helping with some volunteers and more are needed for Judging.
We will be using SCCA Car Show (similar to WSCC) judging rules and SCCA will be giving us some help with the judging as well, if you are interested please send me an email right away?
All Corvettes will be judged based on authenticity, general appearance, care and preparation. Areas to be judged are interior, exterior, engine a chassis (wheels, rims and suspension components), a departure from WSCC rules. You may not craw under the vehicle; you can judge what is visible from an exterior viewing point or from the engine compartment.
If you are chosen to be a judge, you will be given admission, Corvette Corral parking and food in the volunteer tent during the show.
Sounds awesome. I'll definitely be there one way or another since I live right next to Stanford, but I have absolutely no experience doing this kind of thing so I'll leave my straw out of the judges hat for the time being.

Are inspection mirrors allowed during judging? Just going back to my old days of rail rodeo judging.

Deno,
That last email is not in reference to the Concours d' Elegance. That was sent out because of a protest filed following the WSCC Lake County show where his car was marked down for condition even though he was in Park and Show.

Okay David,
Thanks for spotting that and making it clear...
I'll delete it
