Holly cow. This morning is was $4.55 a gallon for premium in the Sacramento area. I have seen $5.19 per gallon for diesel. How are the bay area prices?
Ouch. Time to start playing more with my FJR1300.

$5.19 for diesel around here. Glad I don't have a 30 gallon tank like Mark's diesel truck. $155.00 to fill the tank....ouch.

Try filling up a big truck with 200 gallons and then a few 300 gallon holding tanks!

Dam oil companies.....Good thing we have 5 oil refineries here in the Bay area and we are still paying more than any other part of the US for gas.

That's what they're charging at the Shell station at Elverta Rd/Watt Ave. The really depressing thing is when I bought gas there at the beginning of the month it was $4.09. That's a 46¢ increase in a month. It's got to end sometime...right?

Should be a hell of a lot cheaper than what it is...CA has the most Chevron stations in the entire nation and they still bleed us

Back in March of 2006 I bought 500 shares of Chevron at 57.58....so I have mixed emotions.
Probably soon the cost of filling up will deplete my profits....well...maybe in a few years.
