Default Shifter Questions

Looking for some help. I had the C6Z06 shifter in my car for a couple of months, and decided it was still a bit to long and not as precise as I would like. I have a MGW in the car now and like the throw and how precise it is, but it is a bitch moving it side to side and getting into 5th 6th and reverse. It really worsens the situation that I have some shoulder problems in my right shoulder with a surgery coming up and anytime I move to 5th or 6th it agitates my shoulder. I know someone on here has had the stock shifter or C6 shifter cut an inch or a couple of inches and I was wondering where they had it done? Also does it feel any more precise than the stock shifter or the C6Z06 shifter and what knob do you use? All help is greatly appreciated

That sounds like a good setup. If he doesn't want it let me know and I have payment for him right now. Someone told me Synergy can do this, does anyone know if this is true?

Jeromes shifter is really smooth and precise. I tried his and then put a C6Z shifter in mine with the intentions of cutting it down, but the car is gone.

I'm always up in Fremont, my G/F lives off of Mowry. I will have to come by and check it out. Did you cut from the top of the shifter or the bottom Jerome?
