Default Hawaii Vacation Pics....

Carrie and I just got back from our best vacation ever. Took a few days to get the hell away from everything and really relax. We stayed on the island of Kuiai at the Princeville resort. Enjoy....

The resort from across the bay...

Here are a couple views from the room. It was a great ocean view.

We took a Helicopter tour of the island on the first day to find some places we wanted to see from the air.

A couple water falls... One of which was the spot Jurassic Park was filmed.

That is not very nice having all that fun while we are stuck here.

Glad you guys had a good time. Now if your New Z would just get here, it would be perfect.

We found a couple very remote uninhabited beaches after a little exploring a little off road trails with the rental car..

It took a little walking to find some, but it was worth it.

We found a couple sea caves and walked around one of them...

We checked out the old light house on the cliffs.

And the great views of the southern coast.

Even on the island, Carrie could not get away from the damn Roosters.

That is untill they tried to cross in front of our car...

I can tell you why the chicken crossing the road did not get to the other side.

We did a little more four wheeling in the Sebring, including crossing a few creeks.

We saw many a good sunset and for Carries birthday, we got beachside massages and then a romantic couples secluded beach front dinner for us. It was just us, a nice piece of coastline and a waitress to take care of our fantastic meal.

I had fun feeding the sand crabs Sun Chips and watching them fight over them and try to get them back into their holes in the sand.

And finally some of the great sunsets we enjoyed every night from our little spot under a big tree...

I was feeling crafty and set the Camera on a tree branch, set the timer and flash and let it do the work. We did have the waitress take a few of the dinner together. They turned out great.

No flying roaches, but I did catch a little Iguana in the Shower. I am glad I saw it or Carrie may have broke a limb trying to get out of the tub fast.

The only bad part about going to Hawaii is coing home. My kids thought the roosters were cool, but I thought they were a little noisey. Did you try a puka dog?
