So for someone who has never dragged there car (did drag a truck through mud once, I guess technically towed), what should I expect?
Should I just show up the Sunday morning and do the paperwork and pay the fees?
How do I know what class I'm in? BTW, I'm all stock. It also looks like Verts are ok to run, as long as I don't go faster than 11.49?
Greg,
Bring a helmet model year 200 or newer DOT approved. show up, quite a few of the Nor-Cal guys will be there including myself, they will tech your car, (make sure it is safe) and you can just run the brackets with most of the rest of us. You are technically street class. you will get several passes to just figure out what time you can run consistantly, then you will be asked what time you want to put on your car as a "dial In" time. You race the clock from that point on, concentrating on cutting your best lights "reaction time". The others you race may leave before of after you but you only have to run your car as close to your dial in time with out going to0 quick, or "Breaking out"
I hope you come out and join us, it is a blast!
I am pretty sure there will be alot of the norcals going. I talked with Vic,Carl, drew, arnel, charlie and me . As it gets closer we will put up a meeting spot to go up together. Last year they where pretty cool about our times (except for George they kicked him out) As long as we are safe

You may want to look at where the cutoff time is for converts and roll bars. If you run faster than either 13.99 or 12.99 you maybe required to run a roll bar because of the convertible top.

at the nhra events and sears point its 13.99 but this is sac we are talkin about
If I get the ZZ4 motor all put back together and a new chip by TJ WONG I will be there, as will my son. We take turns driving. That is why last year I trailer it up...afraid the son was going to break something.
