I used a place in oakland off of 880. I will try to look for the name, could be Performance coatings? (4) 18x9" rims and (20) lug nuts for $200. They even gave me some touch up paint!

Go to Wheel Techniques in Santa Clara. They KNOW wheels and do all their powdercoating inhouse.

Just don't go by the date they tell you. It will be 3-5 days after that...

Sam
that sounds rediculous cheap. The cheapest I have found is about $100 per wheel.

find that contact info!

It was advanced metal coatings in Oakland (510) 535-0185. I actually paid $250 in 2004.

I think Wheel Techniques also offers anodizing which adds almost no weight, but I have no idea what it costs or what kinds of colors are available.

Wheel Techniques does good work. I had them refinish all four wheels for my ZR-1.

You've obviously never touched the center of a wheel after a track session. I have, and had the blisters to prove it.
The relatively low heat of powder coating will be no problem for the wheels.

I went to swap them out for my street tires without thinking about the heat that could be generated on the track. I learned quickly. Just a small blister on two fingers but enought to not do it again.
