I just got back from Sidney's. We did my brakes, and a few other things, I'm ready. Sidney's car is ready, and perfect, as usual. We're going up Fri morning. Anyone from the bay area want to meet up? If not.....

I might be driving up Friday morning around 830am to get there around 1030am to video some peoples laps for DVD's. I cant leave much before that though.

As far as I know it is free just to spectate, but you need to sign a waiver as you enter the gate. The only events that I know of where they charge you to get in the gate to watch are the NASA events.

I'm going up Thursday afternoon, I don't like getting up at 4:30AM, the chickens aren't even up yet. But the garbage trucks are....

If you are willing to hike some you can get shots at several corners.
Just ask the guy in the starters tower and he will direct you, I'm sure.

There is good spots, but you have to hike a little to get there.

We will be there with both our cars. I will have a new black Z/71 truck with the Z06 on a trailer and her car will be next to my as well. We should have a pretty good group with us. Probably 8-10 cars.

sounds good. ill see if i can get ahold of my roommates suction cup camera mount if anyone wants to use it... would be perfect to get some laps on tape

I have a roll bar mount in mine and it works great.

ill be hiking to take pics myself as im not running this time out, ill be spending all day takin pics and vids of my homies, oh ya, and of wifey too

You can sit on the barrier right on the front straight and get some great shots of the cars coming out of turn 15.
