Default Big Big thanks to Robert @ AdvancedDyno

Wanted to share my experience with fellow members. In past I have received nothing but great service from Robert, but my last experience won me over. From now on Advanced Dyno is the only shop touching my car.

Here's my story:
I had been collecting some parts for the past 4-5months such as ls7 clutch, Callaway honker, TSP 228 cam, x-pipe, TSP LT headers and a few other parts. Then one day all of a sudden my car starts running like crap, so I made an appointment with Robert and somehow managed to make it to Advanced Dyno. I dropped off my car and found out the problem was a bit major, it seemed like my lifters had some issue. He got me a great price on Cadillac lifters and advised that since the head is off, he can install an aftermarket one for no charge. So I decided to order TSP head, but it took a couple of weeks to arrive to the shop. Meanwhile Robert kept me updated on everything. He finished the car pretty quick and got some great #'s 410rwhp . I was happy, but after a couple of days my car started to smoke a lot, and Robert stated that it sounds like a bad seal. So I dropped off my car and Robert ordered me new seals from TSP for no charge and no cost for labor and installed new seals, but there was something else wrong (crack in the new head that I bought from TSP), and this caused my motor to go Ka-boom. I saw the motor and literally chunks were missing from it. He told me, since TSP is one of his vendors, he will deal directly with them for me. He dealt with TSP and showed them pictures of the motor and the head. After reveiwing, TSP offered to help and send me a new block. (Big thanks to TSP as well) Once again Robert stated that as soon as the parts come in, he will start working on the car, and that's exactly what he did. He put the motor together, broke it in for me. I was having problem with my tranny as well(going in reverse), he gave me a great deal on a rebuilt z06 tranny and installed it at a great price as well. Robert went through hell with this car, and didn't charge me a penny more. Infact I got a new motor from it....... I have never seen any shop provide customer service like that. My car even needed alignment so he worked it out with Richie Rich @ fairfield Chevrolet (Big thanks to Richie Rich for great service as well, he didn't even charge me till after I got my car) Robert even helped me drop my car off and pick it up. Since I am located about over an hour away, this was really convenient for me.
Next mod is a 150shot of the funny gas which will be coming in couple of months. Hope this time my car won't give hell to Robert.

Thanks a lot for everything Robert,
I'll try and make it to the next BBQ and bring some beer and food.

Harry

Sounds like a complicated mess. I'm very impressed about the labor side, and how he took care of that. I've heard of several shops charging labor just to inspect and see what happened.

Hope to see you @ Advanced During one of the Dyno nights...

Some times $hit just happens, you learn a lot about a vender by how they deal with it. This service is why Robert is getting so busy

You all know my story on my and Carries car, so you know that I had to get in here and say that my experiences have been the same. Cars can be a real b!tch sometimes and having people that care about them is very reassuring!

I got to do some work for Robert today on his C6, and even though I was doing work, he made sure everything was in place for me and it all went smoothly. He also let me be the first to dyno a bike at his shop. Robert is a great guy and will be getting business from me for sure!
