Default Laguna Seca Kicks Butt

I went to Laguna Seca for the first time yesterday, and I have to say it was awesome. The C6R's are so much better in person than on TV. They are SO LOUD!

My only complaint was that I couldn't see the whole race, and I couldn't hear what was going on. I think I heard than Alan McNiche won, but other than that I don't have any idea who came in what place.

I'm definitey going again nex year for Moto GP, and ALMS. I think I'll try to get a headset or a TV or something.

I posted the above in Off Topic.

You have much better shots of the GT1 than I got - you should post the link to this thread in OT and C5 general. I'm sure they'd be appreciated.

I'm glad you like them. Unfortunatley my SLR took a crap on me, and is now broken. So I don't have very many shots. They are also a little overexposed, and I was using a crappy lens. I can't wait to get my hands on some real equipment ie: L-series Canon lens and a 40D.

Default Non-Corvettes...

And here are a few pictures of some non-Corvettes that I thought were interesting. As a car guy (and a Corvette guy), it was really great to be at the ALMs race in Laguna Seca this past weekend...there were sooo many different types...

Audi R8...

Cadillac CTS-V...

Nice Porsche...note the blue tinted headlights and fogs?

Privateer BMWs...

Cool looking Viper...

Mustangs...found on road (track) dead...

Mercedes Smart car...

If you own one you can enter Ferrari island, otherwise move along...

NSX...

Viper with old C5R paint scheme...

GTOs...

Wow, great shots. I have got to go next year. I went to the ALMS at Infinion but I think Laguna Seca is a better track.
