I have an extra set of 4 stockers, they look to be pretty good. I have the Baer Eradispeed fronts used. I have the PF 2-piece floating fronts used. And I think I have at least one other set of backs used. Let me know if you don't end up just buying home new.
Well, they won't get here by Thursday, but I'm using a set of Ate rotors from Tire Rack. Ate is a division of Continental AG (as in tires) and makes brake and stability control systems for many european brands, including BMW and Mercedes. If you use the Ate Super Blue high temp brake fluid, you've heard of them.
They're available online from Tire Rack for <$40 each, and are vented/vaned correctly at each corner like OEM. They're slotted - with the slot depth cut to the minimum rotor thickness, so you'll know at a glance when they need to be replaced - and are coated with a high-temp clear coating, so you won't get those unsightly rust stains on the hats.
I put them on my car in April, and have taken it to Infineon (once) and Thunderhill (twice). I have Hawk HP+ pads (an aggressive street/mild track pad), and have been quite happy with them. If Tire Rack has them in-stock in their Reno warehouse, shipping only takes a couple days via ground, or you can pay extra for overnight.
That's a pretty fair deal for slotted and coated but don't you pay thru the nose for shipping?
I finally found them at the good ole price of 28/ea at a nice little friendly place in LG, near the Acura dealer. Oh, hey Napa and your new pricing.... Efff Youu!!!
