Default WTB: An X-pipe & hiflo-cats for 1 7/8 Kooks LT's

…I also posted this in the tech section:

________________________________________ ____________________

I just bought a set of used Kooks 1 7/8" Long Tube Headers for my 2003 Z06. I was told by a local shop that I needed to buy a "Kooks" x-pipe and cat set, from Kooks because each LT vendor is different. Is that true? Or can I connect the Kooks LT's to other name brand cat & X-pipe.

While I was searching I found a thread where someone was running Kooks LT's with a Magna Flow x-pipe. Now, I am confused. I'd like to buy a used x-pipe and cats to save some cash: ), so I'd like to have as many options as possible.

Can anyone shed some light on this subject?

Thanks,

John

Does anyone know where I can get a used set or new for a good price?

Thanks!

I think the sponser list will be able to help you as far as venders for Kooks x-pipes... as far as mixing different x-pipes, I'm unsure what will work, and what wont.

Thanks for the reply,

I have already gotten a quote for $650.00 for a new x-pipe and hi-flow cats. I was hoping to find deal on some used parts, though. I'm not in a huge hurry to get these on. A stock Z06 is still pretty fast.

No problem,

The price will be high for a system with High flo cats. As far as used parts go, have you checked the classified section?
