Default C6Z06 cam comparison

Just finshed up with another C6Z06 cam. Car consists of Kooks LT's, ported intake manifold, ported throttle body, and a custom 23x/24x camshaft. This graph represents a stage 2 Z06 and the new camshaft designed by Carlos. Both cars have the ported intake manifolds, ported throttle body, and long tube headers. Notice the low end power differences, they are impressive!

Red is the car with Carlos' cam and the blue is a "stage 2" cam

Those are darn good numbers for a semi-small cam. The HUGE gain down low in torque (62 lbft) is AMAZING!

I guess that Vic is gonna have to step up from the Stage II now.

Correct Carlos designed this cam as I do not have a specific cam designed for the Ls7. O would say he did a nice job

You know all these posts with cams is really making me thinking after market headers/cam, but I'm really hating to think about smogging it in 2 years and have problems. I swore I wasn't gonna mod the engine in this car for smog reasons since I already have a 650 rwhp without the nitrous Pontiac what do I need another for?

There is never enough fast cars! I would not be happy with SW's garage.

Nice hey robert are those cars on the stock AIS? Im wondering why the 520 is so low im just shy of 500rwhp on a dynojet with bolt ons i would hate to bolt on a cam and gain 20hp. Im planning on doing the carlos cam as well even thoe the HPE one sounds tempting too...

Most of the C6Z's that are coming through the shop with bolt on's are getting 480-490 rwhp. The cams in comparison are pretty mild cams for the 7.0L. You can go bigger for sure!

Go for it. Let Robert choose a nice "smog" friendly cam for you. He chose my cam, and I'm very happy with it.
